All passengers who choose to participate in an organized tour in St. Petersburg, including Private Vehicle tours, may disembark the ship for their tours in St Petersburg without a Russian Tourist Visa if they present the following documents to Russian Immigration at the control point:

  • A valid passport
  • A tour ticket

How to get a tour ticket when on a cruise to St Petersburg?

A tour ticket will be issued by our tour operator in Russia once you have provided the information regarding your name, passport number and date of birth. The issuing of the tour ticket will take a couple of days. You should apply for the tour ticket not later than 2 weeks before your arrival to St Petersburg. After that the tour ticket will be emailed to you for further printing out and presenting it together with your passport on the passport control in St Petersburg.

The drive between the port and St. Petersburg is 35 minutes each way; the following sights are located there:

  • Hermitage museum – Tuesday to Saturday, 10:30am - 6:00pm; Wednesday 10:30am-21:00; Sunday 10:30am - 5:00pm; closed Monday.
  • St. Isaac's Cathedral – Thursday to Tuesday, 11:00am - 6:00pm; closed Wednesday.
  • Russian Museum – Wednesday to Sunday, 10:00am - 5:00pm; Monday, 10:00am - 4:00pm; closed Tuesday.
  • Peter and Paul Fortress – Wednesday to Monday, 9:00am - 5:00pm; Tuesday, 9:00am - 4:00pm.
  • St. Nicholas Church – daily 6:00am - 7:00pm.
  • Synagogue – Sunday to Friday 9:00am - 6:00pm; services at 10:00am; closed Saturday.
  • Church of the Savior on the Spilled Blood – Thursday to Monday, 11:00am - 6:00pm; closed Wednesday.
  • Yusupov Palace - daily from 10:00am-18:00

The drive between the port and Peterhof is 50 minutes each way; the following sights are located there:

  • Grand Palace in Peterhof – Tuesday to Sunday, 10:30am - 5:00pm; closed Monday and the last Tuesday of the month.

The distance between the port and Oranienbaum is about 90 minutes drive each way; the following sights are located there:

  • Chinese Palace – Wednesday to Monday, 11:00am - 5:00pm; closed Tuesday and the last Monday of the month.
  • Palace of Peter III – Wednesday to Monday, 11:00am - 5:00pm; closed Tuesday and the last Monday of the month.

The drive between the port and Tsarskoye Selo is 50 minutes; the following sights are there:

  • Catherine Palace – Wednesday to Monday, 10:00am - 5:00pm; closed Tuesday and the last Monday of the month.
  • Pavlovsk Palace – Saturday to Thursday, 10:00am - 5:00pm; closed Friday and the last Monday of the month.

After the passport control your St Petersburg guide and the driver will be waiting for you at the pier.

All vehicles are equipped with air-conditioning and come with an English-speaking guide.
